For the past six years, I have always been on the go, moving from one place to the next. Due to the nature of my job, it is very easy to witness my stress level rise and for me to lose myself. However, things have changed ever since i started taking yoga regularly (Four times a week minimum)
I usually follow my mentor, Rima Rani Rabbat. Her classes are so much fun and she always raises me up with her great sense of humor. Classes start with chanting (i will post some soon), and a little ‘shedding-of-wisdom’ talk. We then have an hour and fifteen minutes of an intense yoga flow workout (You will sweat) followed by an Asana and a brief meditation practice.
If you are a newbie, try taking the ‘basic’ or ‘spiritual warrior’ classes first. You can then take the ‘Open’ classes when you feel ready for a challenge. Don’t forget to feed your spirit & body with the delicious food offered at the Jivamukti cafe. I usually have the protein rich salads (Marinated Beets or the Montana Salad). Total Bliss!
